El domingo a Zegama que me fuí a cubrir la Zegama-Aizkorri, maratón de montaña prueba perteneciente a la Sky Runner World Series.
Día frio y lluvioso el que tuvimos, pero mucha gente siguiendo la prueba.
Un ejemplo a seguir lo de Zegama, un pueblo de aprox. 1500 habitantes organiza cada año una de las carreras más prestigiosas a nivel mundial, repartiendo un total de 4700€ en metálico, trofeos, txapelas y para todos los que finalizan la prueba en el tiempo establecido reciben un lote de productos típicos de la zona.
Last Sunday I went to Zegama to cover the mountain marathon Zegama-Aizkorri, part of the Sky Runner World Series.
Cold and rainy day, but plenty of people following the race.
An example to follow what is being done in Zegama, a village with a population of about 1500 people, this race is organized every year having a world wide prestige, a total prize of 4700€ cash is given plus, trophies, txapelas (beret, typical in the basque country, given to the winners) and to all the runners that finish under the time limit a prize of typical local products.
Zegama o Cegama? estaremos en el sitio correcto?

El año que viene pido un papelito como este! un poco caótico para aparcar debido a la gran cantidad de gente que había en el pueblo.
Next year I am going to ask for a parking permit like this one! quite chaotic to park as the town was jam packed with people.

Yo estaba convencido de que el podium no iba a aguntar de la cantidad de gente que habia en el…. 11 que se pueden ver en la foto (habia alguna más incluso) pero solo 5 de ellos eran atletas….
I was almost certain that the podium would not hold the weight of so many people…11 people can be seen in the picture (there were some more in total) and only 5 of them were athletes.
